What is a Taco Bell Steak Quesadilla?

A Taco Bell steak quesadilla is made with a soft, warm tortilla filled with tender steak, melted cheeses, and creamy jalapeño sauce.

Equipment

Ingredients

Easy, simple to find ingredients and substitutions.

Quesadilla Ingredients

  • Burrito-size flour tortilla—For a gluten-free option, substitute a gluten-free burrito-size tortilla. I love this Siete tortilla.
  • Sirloin steak, sliced – or your favorite cut or steak. Flank and skirt steak are also perfect steak cuts for quesadillas.
  • Shredded three-cheese blend (cheddar, mozzarella, American, and Monterey Jack). Although they call it a three-cheese blend, their ingredient list lists four cheeses in the recipe. I love cheese, and so I opted for all four cheeses.
  • Avocado Oil – for cooking

Creamy Jalapeño Sauce Ingredients

  • Mayonnaise
  • Pickled jalapeños minced
  • Pickle juice from pickled jalapeños
  • Buttermilk
  • Chili powder
  • Paprika
