Fresh Culantro for Sofrito

Can I use Cilantro instead of Culantro?

While culantro is ideal for sauteing, you could swap it for cilantro.

Where can I find Culantro?

Culantro can be found in the International section of the produce aisle or in a supermarket with international ingredients.

Can I use Frozen Garlic?

Yes, I added frozen garlic to this recipe, but you can use fresh garlic.

Can I save Sofrito in the Freezer?

Sofrito can be saved in the freezer for a few weeks and made in big batches. Ideally when the ingredients are in season.
