It’s a simple, fun way to serve breakfast or brunch without spending the whole morning in the kitchen.

Why You’ll Love Them
- Everything bakes in one pan, so it’s easy to serve and clean up.
- They’re perfect for feeding a group, whether it’s family or friends.
- You can easily switch things up—try sausage, ham, or even a veggie version!
A Little TipTitle
For extra fresh and delicious sliders, try making your own dough or using par-baked rolls. It’s a small step that takes these sliders to the next level!
Equipment Needed
- Baking dish (9×13-inch recommended)
- Small bowl (for the butter mixture)
- Knife and cutting board
- Brush (for butter topping)
- Foil (to cover during baking)
Ingredients (with Substitutions)
For the Sliders
- Slider Rolls: Use store-bought, par-baked rolls, or homemade slider rolls. Hawaiian rolls are a soft and sweet option, or opt for freshly baked rolls for a homemade touch.
- Eggs: Scrambled for the filling.
- Heavy Cream: Adds richness to the eggs; milk can be used as a lighter option.
- Butter (for eggs): Used when cooking to prevent sticking and add flavor.
- Bacon: Crispy cooked bacon is ideal, but turkey bacon or plant-based bacon strips are great alternatives.
- Cheese: Cheddar or American cheese for melty goodness. Try Pepper Jack for a spicy kick or Colby for a milder flavor.
For the Topping
- Butter: Melted for brushing the rolls, adds a golden finish.
- Dried Parsley: Optional, for a touch of color and freshness.
- Sesame Seeds: Optional, for added crunch and presentation.

Tip: Toast First
Toasting the rolls before assembling gives them a buttery crunch that enhances the texture and keeps them from getting soggy.
Types of Pull-Apart Bread for Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sliders
Here’s a list of different bread options that could work wonderfully for this recipe. Each option adds its own flavor and texture twist:
- Hawaiian Rolls
- Soft, sweet, and classic for sliders. Their slight sweetness pairs beautifully with the savory bacon and eggs.
- Dinner Rolls
- Light and fluffy rolls that are slightly less sweet than Hawaiian rolls. Perfect for a more neutral flavor base.
- Brioche Rolls
- Buttery and rich, these rolls enhance the decadence of the sliders.
- Potato Rolls
- These are soft, moist, and slightly dense, offering a heartier bite.
- Par-Baked Rolls
- Finish baking them along with the sliders for a fresh-from-the-oven taste and crisp texture.
- Homemade Slider Rolls
- Customize the flavor, size, and texture by making your own. Great for a special occasion!
- Croissant Dough Rolls
- For an extra buttery and flaky slider base. Perfect if you want an indulgent, melt-in-your-mouth experience.
- Sourdough Pull-Apart Rolls
- Adds a tangy flavor and a chewy texture for a more unique option.
- Mini Bagels (Split)
- A fun and unexpected twist for brunch-inspired sliders. Slightly chewy but satisfying.
- Ciabatta Rolls (Softened)
- For a more rustic texture. Choose smaller ciabatta buns or rolls to keep the pull-apart aspect.
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to get started.
- Bake the bacon: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the bacon in a single layer. Bake it until it’s golden and crispy. Once done, transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to cool and crisp up.
- Toast the slider rolls: Slice the rolls in half without separating them completely. Brush both the tops and insides with melted butter. Place them cut side up on a baking sheet and toast in the oven until they’re lightly golden.
- Scramble the eggs: In a skillet, melt some butter over medium heat. Whisk the eggs with a splash of cream to make them extra fluffy, then cook them gently, stirring occasionally, until they’re just set. Remove from the heat.
- Assemble the sliders: Start by layering the scrambled eggs evenly over the bottom half of the toasted rolls. Add the bacon on top, followed by the cheese slices.
- Melt everything together: Place the top half of the rolls over the layers and pop the assembled sliders back into the oven for just a few minutes. This will melt the cheese and bring everything together.
- Serve: Slice the sliders into individual portions and serve them warm. They’re perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even as a quick snack.

What to Serve Them With
Pair these sliders with:
- Fresh fruit or a simple fruit salad.
- Roasted breakfast potatoes or hash browns.

Notes
Top Tips for Perfect Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sliders
- Toast the Rolls First: Brushing butter on the rolls and toasting them ensures crispy edges and prevents sogginess from the eggs and cheese.
- Use Cream for Fluffy Eggs: Adding heavy cream to the eggs makes them extra creamy and rich. Stir them gently while cooking to keep them soft and fluffy.
- Cook Bacon Until Crispy: Crispy bacon adds the perfect texture contrast. If you prefer less greasy bacon, bake it in the oven on a wire rack for even cooking.
- Layer Cheese Carefully: Placing the cheese on top of the bacon ensures it melts evenly and binds the layers together.
- Short Bake Time: Keep the final baking short (2-3 minutes) to prevent overcooking the eggs and maintain the sliders’ fresh flavor.
