Angel Hair Chimichurri Pasta

Angel hair pasta with rich, tangy, and herbaceous chimichurri butter. It's delicate and silky, and such a simple recipe. You can also make this with an authentic chimichurri olive oil based recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups Filtered Water
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 4 oz Angel Hair Pasta Organic
  • 2 tbsp Chimichurri Compound Butter 2 Rounds (or coins)
Garnish
  • 1 tsp Cilantro and Parsley Leaves
  • 1 tsp Grated Parmesan Cheese

Equipment

  • 1 Medium Sized Saute Pan
  • 1 Tongs
  • 1 Grater
  • 1 Pairing Knife

Method
 

Pasta
  1. Bring a shallow pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the angel hair pasta, and cook as directed on the packaging.
  3. Before draining reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
Chimichurri Sauce
  1. Finely chop fresh cilantro, parsley and oregano. Mince the fresh garlic.
  2. Combine with softened butter or olive oil, based on preference.
  3. Season with salt, add lemon juice and hint of vinegar. Shredded parmesan cheese, optional.
  4. In a skillet, coat the angel hair pasta with the chimichurri sauce. Remove from heat and toss using tongs.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
