Ingredients
  

  • 1 Canned Garbanzos
  • 1 tbsp Tahini
  • 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 whole Lemon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • pinch Cumin Powder

  • 1 Food processor
  • 1 Fine Mesh Strainer

Method
 

  1. Step One
    Drain the canned chickpeas and add them to the food processor. Save about 1/4 cup on the side to add to the hummus for texture.

  2. Step Two
    Add the tahini, lemon juice, salt, and 2 tbsp of olive oil to the food processor and pulse until your preferred texture. For creamy hummus, it takes about a minute.
    Use a spatula to scrape the sides of the food processor bowl to get a consistent texture.

  3. Step Three
    For the final touch, transfer the creamy hummus to a bowl and add top it off with the chickpeas you set aside. Then add a pinch of cumin powder, drizzle on the remaining olive oil, and a pinch of sea salt!
