- 1 Canned Garbanzos
- 1 tbsp Tahini
- 3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 whole Lemon
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- pinch Cumin Powder
1 Food processor
1 Fine Mesh Strainer
Step OneDrain the canned chickpeas and add them to the food processor. Save about 1/4 cup on the side to add to the hummus for texture. Step TwoAdd the tahini, lemon juice, salt, and 2 tbsp of olive oil to the food processor and pulse until your preferred texture. For creamy hummus, it takes about a minute. Use a spatula to scrape the sides of the food processor bowl to get a consistent texture. Step ThreeFor the final touch, transfer the creamy hummus to a bowl and add top it off with the chickpeas you set aside. Then add a pinch of cumin powder, drizzle on the remaining olive oil, and a pinch of sea salt!
