  • .5 oz Jamon Serrano
  • .5 oz Uncured Chorizo
Spread or Dip
  • 16 oz Hummus, Aji Picante
Crackers
  • 1 oz Sweet Corn Toasted Crackers 1/4 bag
  • 1 oz Guava Toasted Corn Crackers 1/4 bag
  • 2 Savory Spanish Rosemary Torta 1/2 container
Nut, Dried Fruit, and Crunchy Snacks
  • 1 oz Valencia Almonds with Rosemary two handfuls
  • 2 oz Giant Peruvian Inca Corn two handfuls
  • 1 oz Dried Mango with Chili Powder two handfuls
Garnish
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Mint Leaves Or Cilantro Leaves

Equipment

  • 1 Small Round Board
  • 1 Fine Mesh Strainer
  • 1 Medium-Sized Bowl

Method

  1. Prep: Clean and rinse all of the fruit, and garnish.
Have all your ingredients ready to arrange on your board.
  2. Step One
Start from the outside. Place the cheeses, and dips closest to the board's edge – this will help create structure.
  3. Step Two
Place the sturdiest fruit on the board's edge, like the strawberries and blackberries, which will help keep the round golden berries in place.
  4. Step Three
Add the remaining fruit, and continue building the board by creating balance with various colors. The fruit will fill in the gaps on the board. Tip! Place the round fruit in the middle to keep them in place.
  5. Step Four
Continue with the crackers and keep them closest to the cheeses and dips.
  6. Step Five
Place the nuts, dried fruit, and Inca corn closest to the fruit and use them to fill any gaps on the board.

Notes

If you look at the arrangement of the ingredients on a round board, the ingredients go from the outer edge and move toward the center. Please start with the larger structured ingredients, place them on the outer edge, and build the board from the edge, working your way to the middle as you continue adding your favorite charcuterie crackers, cheeses, and fruits.
Tip: Keep the rolled cured meats between the larger structured ingredients to keep them in place.
