When you combine the buffalo sauce’s tanginess and the adobo’s earthiness, you get a match made in heaven.

Try this parmesan garlic wings recipe if you’re looking to make several different flavors for a large group of people on game night.

Raw organic chicken wings

Do I need to marinate the wings?

You can take a shortcut that doesn’t require marinating, and that is to cook the chicken wings with acid first and then add layers in progression.

This method builds and creates a great depth of flavor.

Steps to the best air fryer buffalo adobo wings

Step 1: Rinse and clean the chicken wings with water and apple cider vinegar. Pat dry. Place them in a large mixing bowl.

Step 2: Add the juice of a whole lemon and crushed garlic to the wings – let them sit for a few minutes. Remove them from the lemon juice and season with adobo.

Step 3:  Set the air fryer at 350 degrees and cook for 20 minutes.

Step 4: Remove the wings and add buffalo sauce and return to the air fryer at 350 for 20 minutes.

Step 5: Serve on a plate, add buffalo sauce *optional* and enjoy.
